It is with great sadness that the family of Dolores Ruth Trapani nee Gelsumino announces her passing, only two days after her 89th Birthday, on July 19, 2017. Dolores passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family, including her husband of 68 wonderful years, Frank Trapani.
Dolores and her husband Frank have lived in Mt. Prospect since 1955, where they raised their 3 children, Tom Trapani, Susan Vitale, and Steven Trapani. Later accompanied by their 9 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
“To know her is to love her” as her favorite singer Perry Como would say, and her friends and family would wholeheartedly agree. Dolores had a heart of gold, she had a strong love for animals and was extremely charitable.
Visitation Wednesday July 26, 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m. at St. Raymond de Penafort Church, Elmhurst Rd., (Rt 83) at Lincoln St., Mt. Prospect, IL 60056.

Although she is no longer with us, her presence will forever be imprinted in our hearts.
